These diapers are hand made in China,

Benefits of Bamboo:
Bamboo has many advantages over cotton. Fabrics made from bamboo are softer and are similar to silk in texture. Bamboo is naturally antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and more absorbent, therefore keeping your baby dry and odor free. Bamboo fabrics dry twice as fast as cottons and can be worn all year, keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Not only is bamboo good for you it is also good for the environment. Bamboo is a quick growing plant. Fertilizers and/or pesticides are not required to yield a successful crop. Little water is needed and they can survive through drought and flooding.
Bamboo also makes excellent clothing, not only for babies but for adults and children too.

How to Wash Your Cloth Diapers

Posted by Andrea Stanley at 7:42 PM 0 comments

First and foremost, you will need a large gallon bucket or pail with a lid. You can find these at some restaurants, garden centers, and/or department stores. Sprinkle backing soda on the bottom to help mask the smell.

Choose a detergent that is safe for your baby. Some babies have sensitive skin so using the same detergent as their clothing is key.

Store diapers in a pail until ready to wash. be sure to shake any large solids into the toilet. You may choose to soak your diapers with a little detergent while storing (simply fill pail with hot water and add detergent). When ready to wash dump entire bucket into washing machine (if bucket has been filled with water for soaking place machine on spin then start machine at the beginning and add detergent). Place machine on the appropriate settings for the load size and fill with HOT water, add detergent.

When you ready to dry make sure all inserts/soaker pads have been removed from pockets. Hang dry pockets and place inserts in dryer (do not use bounce sheets or any product similar). Be sure to avoid placing your diapers in the dryer as much as possible, the high heat can break down the PUL faster then normal.

Store diapers in a safe dry place out of reach of children. Once dry, place inserts/soaker pads back into pockets. If you have aplix diapers always remove the lint and hair from the rough parts after every wash. If you have diapers with snaps, inspect the snaps and the fabric around them every once and a while to make sure there is no lose or broken snaps that may be a chocking hazard to your child.
